Hi Jenny,
Cruise lines have the age groupings to give some order to the kids programming, which in the case of Oasis of the Seas can involve more than 1,000 kids. The cruise lines base their age groupings on the maturity level of typical kids, so unfortunately that misses the mark for kids who are more mature for their ages. But interestingly, Disney has just announced a more flexible system for its kids programming, allowing kids of any age (between 3 and 12) to choose what they want to do based on interest not age group. Perhaps if Royal Caribbean gets enough feedback like yours, they may consider a more flexbile system for their kids programming.
Thanks for writing in!

How come 10 and 11 year olds are still in the kids section? They are now so dissapointed that they are. And they are mature enough! They both nearly run the house, both have hit puberty, and belong in the older kids section because my daughters are more mature then most kids older than them.
